Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that a physical book is damaged during shipping, Gitagia.com will provide an exchange. To be eligible for an exchange, the damaged book must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
To request an exchange, customers should contact us via email at wanjiku@gitagia.com(mailto:wanjiku@gitagia.com) or by phone at +254 726 153040. Requests must include the order number, a description of the damage, and, if possible, photographs of the damaged item.
Upon receipt of the request, instructions will be provided for returning the damaged book. The item must be returned in its original packaging or a secure alternative that protects it from further damage during transit.
Once the returned book has been received and inspected, Gitagia.com will promptly dispatch a replacement. This exchange policy applies only to books damaged during shipping and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, or normal wear and tear after delivery.
By purchasing from Gitagia.com, customers acknowledge and agree to this policy. It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect all orders upon delivery and report any damage immediately. Gitagia.com disclaims any liability for issues arising after the 48-hour reporting period or due to improper handling by the customer.
